Diane Purkiss is Fellow and Tutor of English at Keble College, Oxford. She is also a published historian, and has written many books on modern witchcraft, fairies and fairy stories, food history, and the English Civil War. She is author of a series of children’s fantasy novels which she co-wrote with her son under the pseudonym Tobias Druitt.
